Reports suggest Guimaraes has informed Newcastle of his desire to leave this summer, as the Magpies will not be playing in European competition next season.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are also preparing to finalize a move for Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis worth around £35 million, according to The Sun. The Greek international, formerly of Norwich City, is seen as a replacement for Leandro Trossard, who is poised to complete a £17 million switch to Besiktas. Greek journalist Konstantinos Lianos reports that a deal between Arsenal and Club Brugge is expected to be finalized soon.
