Manchester United are set to reject an 'audacious' offer from Galatasaray for Bruno Fernandes, it has been claimed. The Turkish club have made an approach for the 31-year-old midfielder, who is entering the final 12 months of his contract at Old Trafford, with an option to extend for a further year.
Galatasaray's ambitious pursuit
According to The Independent, Galatasaray are lining up a 'comprehensive' financial package for the Portugal international, who scored nine goals and provided a record-breaking 22 assists in 37 appearances last season. The Turkish side are determined to sign a superstar before the end of the transfer window, and Fernandes has emerged as a top target.
United's firm stance
United's stance, however, is that Fernandes is not for sale, despite his contract situation. The club are hoping to tie Fernandes down to a new long-term deal following a stellar 2025/26 season, and they are desperate to keep him at the club.
