Wimbledon Day 12: Fery, Djokovic in Semi-Finals

Arthur Fery Takes on Alexander Zverev in Opening Semi-Final

Arthur Fery returns to Centre Court at Wimbledon today as the men's singles semi-finals take centre stage. The Briton aims to become the first home hope to reach the final at the All England Club in a decade, 10 years after Sir Andy Murray's second triumph in 2016. The 23-year-old is also the second wildcard entry to reach the last four, following Goran Ivanisevic in 2001. Ivanisevic went on to beat Pat Rafter and lift the trophy 25 years ago, defeating Greg Rusedski and Tim Henman en route.

Fery opens play on Centre Court on Friday against the second seed Alexander Zverev. He booked his semi-final spot with a stunning straight-sets victory over ninth seed Flavio Cobolli, whom he had already defeated at the Australian Open in his first major shock. Zverev, the French Open champion, progressed after his own three-set win over Taylor Fritz on Court No. 1.

Novak Djokovic vs. Jannik Sinner: A Clash of Generations

After the conclusion of Fery's match, tennis past and present collide as Novak Djokovic, eyeing a 25th Grand Slam title, faces off against Jannik Sinner. The world No. 1 is the defending champion at this year's Championships, having usurped Carlos Alcaraz last year to claim a maiden grass-court crown. Alcaraz missed this year's tournament through injury, which opened up the draw and forced Sinner and Djokovic to meet before the final, which takes place on Sunday.
