Mike Tindall's Platinum Jubilee Snub of Prince Harry Sparks Bond Questions

Mike Tindall, the former England rugby star married to Zara Tindall, has been at the centre of royal family dynamics after reportedly calling Prince Harry a 'b***end' during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The 43-year-old was overheard making the remark at a reception following the Platinum Party concert at Buckingham Palace on Saturday night, according to the Daily Express.

The incident comes amid a reported rift between Harry and other royals, as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made their first public appearance alongside the Cambridges since stepping down as senior royals two years ago. Harry and Meghan attended only a thanksgiving service at St Paul's Cathedral, staying low-key for the rest of the four-day celebrations.

Body language expert Judi James told the Express that Mike Tindall appeared to avoid chatting with Prince Harry after the service. While Zara chatted animatedly with Harry and Meghan, Mike struck up a separate conversation with David Armstrong-Jones, Earl of Snowdon, seemingly ignoring the Sussexes. James suggested Mike's bond with Prince William may have caused the divide.

This is not the first time Tindall has made pointed comments about Harry. In September 2021, during A Question of Sport Live at the London Palladium, he joked that members of the Royal Family would like to 'throw a few punches' at the Duke of Sussex. The Platinum Jubilee snub has reignited speculation about the state of Harry's relationships within the family.
