Arsenal winger Christos Tzolis will be sidelined for at least two weeks due to a hamstring injury, according to reports in Greece.
The 24-year-old was forced off after 18 minutes during Greece's 2-2 draw with the Netherlands in their Nations League match in Thessaloniki on Thursday night.
Tzolis withdraws from Greece camp
Tzolis has now withdrawn from Greece's camp and is due to travel back to London on Saturday. Greece are due to play Germany in their next Nations League game on Sunday.
Tzolis underwent an initial scan on Friday and sources close to Greece's national side indicate that the winger will be out of action for approximately two to three weeks.
Further tests at Arsenal
Arsenal will conduct further tests to discover the extent of Tzolis' hamstring injury.
But if Tzolis is out for three weeks, it would mean that the Greek winger is unavailable for Arsenal's next Premier League game at home to Leeds United on October 10.
Potential matches missed
Tzolis would also miss two Champions League matches against Lille and Bayern Munich, as well as another Premier League game against Nottingham Forest on October 18.
- October 10: Leeds United (Premier League)
- October 13: Lille (Champions League)
- October 18: Nottingham Forest (Premier League)
- October 21: Bayern Munich (Champions League)
Tzolis could potentially return for Arsenal's Premier League fixture at home to Everton on October 24.
The winger, who was signed in a £34 million deal from Club Brugge in July, has registered two assists in seven appearances for Arsenal this season.
