A one-of-a-kind inline hockey tournament took place at the Walker Dome on Thursday, where confidence was the main goal - not winning.
SPARCS Supernova team
SPARCS Supernova is a mixed ability, neurodivergent team built around a simple belief: everyone has the opportunity to take part, play and feel valued. Each player is treated as an individual, with their strengths, achievements, confidence and progress all valued. It also helps everyone experience the fun and sense of belonging that comes from being part of a team.
Weekly practice and tournament focus
Players practice every week at the Northern Edge rink at the Walker Dome, giving them the opportunity to build their skills, confidence and friendships in a relaxed and supportive environment. The tournament is about confidence, friendships, teamwork, development and celebrating what every individual brings to SPARCS Supernova.
