Three of his defeats came as a short-priced favourite, but the 6f novice race represents his best chance yet to open his account. He has gone down by a head in two runs under Oisin Murphy, and the return of the champion jockey combined with first-time cheekpieces can make the difference.
Command The Stars at Ripon
At Ripon, Command The Stars (8.10, NB) can show his ability on his first appearance since a gelding operation. The three-year-old recorded his only win at Listed level last season but has been well beaten in three appearances this season. If the surgery has helped settle him down, George Scott's challenger could make his presence felt.
