Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are meeting face-to-face at a press conference in London this evening, days after their long-awaited Battle of Britain fight was confirmed for December 11 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
The two veteran British heavyweights are set to finally meet in the ring after more than a decade of waiting, and tonight's event at the Olympia marks the first press conference previewing the blockbuster bout.
Dispute over fight promotion
As recently as the start of this week, there were doubts the fight would go ahead at all. A disagreement with Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, over UFC boss Dana White's role in promoting the fight raised concerns the agreement could collapse.
Fury alleged: "It doesn't look like they are going to sign the fight and it doesn't look like it is going to happen all because Eddie Hearn and that want more money."
However, the issues appear to have been resolved, and Fury and Joshua are now set to face off in London.

Fight fans have waited over a decade for this moment, since both Fury and Joshua were undefeated and in their primes.
