The Red Roses were held to a 26-26 draw by Canada in a rematch of last year's Women's Rugby World Cup final, ending their run of 39 successive wins. Why is the match not on BBC Two?
England's matches in the WXV campaign have been relegated to BBC iPlayer, with films and other sporting coverage shown on BBC Two instead. When England beat Australia 48-15 in their opening game, BBC Two viewers saw Lawrence of Arabia. West Side Story and Warrington's Super League clash with Hull KR were shown instead of last weekend's draw with Canada.
This weekend, 1961 romantic comedy Lover Come Back will be shown on the channel instead of England's clash with the Black Ferns. Coverage of the rugby will begin at 2.35pm ahead of a 3pm kick-off.
Players criticise broadcasting arrangement
England prop Hannah Botterman admitted the broadcasting arrangement is "not something we're particularly happy with", with the wider squad viewing it as "a bit naff".
"It's tough," she said. "It became the norm for us for a long time, so to go back on iPlayer isn't ideal. I think it's probably a bit regressive in terms of what we were pushing for.
"As players, it's obviously something that comes up and everyone's a bit like, 'That's a bit naff' but ultimately it doesn't really change anything for us.
"After the year last year and winning the Six Nations, it would have been nice to be supported by some free-to-air TV. It's not something that we as a group massively talk about or think about – but it's [also] not something we're particularly happy with."
