Leny Yoro has said Manchester United can win the Premier League this season as Michael Carrick prepares for his first full campaign in charge. The Reds finished third last term after Carrick took over on an interim basis in January.
United's last top-flight title came under Sir Alex Ferguson, who won 13 before retiring in 2013. Since then, the club has had seven permanent managers without adding another Premier League crown.

Some of those managers did deliver silverware. David Moyes won the Community Shield, Louis van Gaal lifted the FA Cup, Jose Mourinho picked up the Europa League, FA Cup and League Cup, and Erik ten Hag claimed the League Cup and FA Cup. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ruben Amorim left with nothing.
Amorim's reign ended with a 15th-place finish in 2024/25, but Yoro believes a change is on the horizon and the 13-year title drought can end.
Yoro's title ambition
Asked about the possibility of winning the title, Yoro said: "We’re Man United so we have to think like that. And I know we have the potential to do it, so we have to do it."
He added: "The mood is really good. We work really hard, and outside the pitch, we have a good vibe, good mood. So the target this season is to win every game, to be honest. For the team to be the best, for myself to do good games every time, to win trophies, and to be at the top."
Carrick's first full season
Carrick, 44, was given the job permanently this summer after guiding United to third place. He said: "From the moment that I arrived here 20 years ago, I felt the magic of Manchester United."
