Tottenham Fan Group Demands Emergency Action After Humiliating Defeat

Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust has called for 'emergency action' following a 5-2 loss to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League last-16 first leg, a result that extends the club's worst losing streak to six matches.

Interim head coach Igor Tudor became the first Spurs boss to lose his opening four games, with the team's defensive frailties exposed early on. Back-up goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky was at fault for two goals inside the first 17 minutes, including a miscued pass that allowed Julian Alvarez to score into an empty net.

Kinsky was substituted shortly after, with Tudor insisting the decision was his own. When asked about the goalkeeper's performance, Tudor offered 'no comment', adding: 'It is not about my job, it is about how to help the team.'

The Supporters' Trust issued a scathing statement, branding the performance a 'total disgrace' and criticising the club's leadership. 'Emergency action is needed as right now we are sleepwalking off the edge of a cliff,' the statement read, calling for match tickets to be refunded and demanding the club 'make us proud.'

Despite a brief fightback with goals from Pedro Porro and Dominic Solanke, Tottenham trail 5-2 ahead of the second leg. Atletico boss Diego Simeone cautioned against complacency, noting the Champions League is 'made for important players.'
