Gorringe announced a formal application to return to Category One academy status, which would involve assessment next season. He also defended the player trading model, stating, "We've averaged over £11m profit over a 10-year period," and noted the squad now has more assets than when he arrived.
Regarding star striker Zan Vipotnik, sporting director Stevens said, "Yes we have a plan behind the scenes. We're making sure we have all options available if as a board and a club we decided to take an offer for Zan." The imminent capture of Ross Stewart might be that plan, but time will tell.
