Play-off revamp boosts Swansea hopes
Swansea have high hopes for the campaign, particularly after the change to the play-off system. Eighth place will be enough to secure a play-off spot this season, and the Swans were just five points shy of that mark last term.
Having strengthened in key areas over the summer, especially in wide positions, head coach Vitor Matos will hope his squad still has plenty to play for at the business end of the season.
Stoke familiar face
Stoke may hold similar ambitions, despite finishing nine points behind Swansea last time out. They boast a familiar face in their ranks, with Northern Ireland midfielder Ethan Galbraith having swapped SA1 for the Potteries earlier in the summer.
