Benjamin Sesko has expressed his admiration for Manchester United interim manager Michael Carrick, describing him as 'an amazing person' and a 'really good coach'. The Slovenian striker, who joined United for £74 million last summer, credited Carrick and his staff for their detailed approach and communication.
Sesko's comments came after he scored a crucial equaliser from the bench in United's 1-1 draw against West Ham. The 22-year-old has now netted twice under Carrick, including a late winner against Fulham. 'They are giving all the details that you need to improve,' Sesko told United's official YouTube channel.
Carrick, who took over from Ruben Amorim last month, remains unbeaten in his second spell as interim boss. He has won four of his first five matches, with the only blemish being the draw against West Ham. The former United midfielder praised Sesko's impact off the bench, calling his finish 'unbelievable'.
'It's managing the balance,' Carrick said. 'Ben is in a really good place and ready to kick on. That was a big moment for him and for us.'
