Mohamed Salah has launched a scathing attack on Liverpool and manager Arne Slot after being left on the bench for the third consecutive match in the dramatic 3-3 draw with Leeds. The 33-year-old accused the club of 'throwing him under the bus' and suggested his relationship with Slot has deteriorated beyond repair.
Salah also took aim at former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher, declaring: 'Tomorrow Carragher is going to go for me again and again.' Carragher responded on Sky Sports' Monday Night Football, slamming Salah for what he viewed as a deliberate assault on the club and Slot.
The row continued on Tuesday during CBS' Champions League broadcast, where Carragher and Micah Richards locked horns over Salah's comments. Richards expressed sympathy for Salah's frustration, prompting a heated debate. Thierry Henry intervened, playfully massaging both pundits' shoulders before positioning himself between them.
Salah was omitted from Liverpool's Champions League squad for the match against Inter Milan, raising questions about his future at the club. Liverpool won 1-0 at the San Siro thanks to a goal from Dominik Szoboszlai.
