Rangers trail Jagiellonia Bialystok 2-1 after a defeat in Poland last week and faced heavy criticism for their display. Former Polish international striker Marek Citko, who scored against England in a World Cup qualifier and rejected a move to Liverpool to train as a priest, believes Jagiellonia will travel to Scotland full of confidence.
McInnes aims for Ibrox fortress
Derek McInnes revealed he wants to turn Ibrox into a fortress with four home games on the horizon. However, Citko reckons the natives will be left restless on Thursday night.
Citko said: "Of course, the away game will be tough, but all away games in Europe are. Look, the pressure will all be on Rangers. Jagiellonia are a team that performs very well both in the league and in Europe. It's not easy to beat them. And they have a very good manager in Adrian Siemieniec. He is someone who has learned a lot as a coach. They don't fear any team in Europe because they play their own game and don't worry about the opposition."
Jagiellonia's confidence
"They are happy to take the pressure and then hit on the counter-attack and they are very good at it. They are confident and won't fear Rangers. I think Jagiellonia can handle the pressure. They can keep the ball, tire the opponent out. And I believe they will get through."
