Kobbie Mainoo Attracts Interest from 10 Clubs as Man Utd Face Decision

Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo is attracting interest from as many as 10 clubs, according to reports, as the club faces a significant decision on his future. The 20-year-old England international has struggled for game time under new manager Ruben Amorim, falling down the pecking order at Old Trafford.

Mainoo, who became a key player under former boss Erik ten Hag, has not featured in either of United's Premier League matches this season. Amorim has stated that Mainoo is competing with captain Bruno Fernandes for a starting spot, a battle the young midfielder is currently losing.

With only two years left on his contract, plus a one-year extension option, Mainoo is reportedly keen to explore a move elsewhere to secure regular first-team football. Chelsea have been linked, but a switch to Stamford Bridge appears unlikely in the current window as they pursue other targets, including United's Alejandro Garnacho.

Manchester United value Garnacho at £50 million, but Chelsea are only willing to pay £35 million, leaving a significant gap. The Blues are also looking to sell several players, including Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku, Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell, and Axel Disasi, to balance their books.

Mainoo is expected to feature in United's League Cup tie against Grimsby Town on Wednesday, but his long-term future remains uncertain as the transfer window draws to a close.
