Manchester United's midfield overhaul looks set to continue, with Michael Carrick looking to add firepower to his engine room. The Red Devils have been linked with a move for Bournemouth standout Tyler Adams, who impressed in the Premier League last season and again this summer on home soil in the USA.

According to talkSPORT, Adams is seen as a cheaper alternative to many of the other names on United's shortlist. However, reports that Bournemouth would be willing to accept as little as £35m are false.

Who is Tyler Adams' WAG Sarah Schmidt?

As Adams starred over the summer, he was cheered on by his wife Sarah Schmidt. Despite being catapulted into the public eye through her husband and earning the WAG label, Sarah keeps a remarkably low profile when it comes to her career and professional endeavours.

She has opted to keep information about her job, education, and work life under wraps. Nevertheless, she regularly uses Instagram to update followers on her family life and cheer on Tyler during fixtures.

Sarah does not appear to engage in business ventures or commercial influencer collaborations online. Her Instagram account is predominantly focused on her family life and globe-trotting adventures, showcasing snaps from numerous lavish locations across the globe. The couple recently started a family.

Other midfield options for United

United have also been linked with Real Madrid's Aurelien Tchouameni, but reports now suggest that venture is proving too expensive. Carrick could turn to France star Manu Kone and Tchouameni's Los Blancos teammate Eduardo Camavinga, while Fulham's Sander Berge is also on the shortlist as well as Adams.

The Red Devils have already splashed the cash this summer, recruiting Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans for £50m and £35m from Chelsea and Aston Villa respectively.
