Manchester United manager Michael Carrick is still in the market for midfield reinforcements and another left-back before the transfer window shuts. The club has already added Andrey Santos, Karl Darlow, Tynan Thompson, and Youri Tielemans to the squad, but with domestic and European football on the horizon, strength in depth is needed.
Left-back options
Lewis Hall remains a long-term target, but Newcastle are under no obligation to sell. The Manchester Evening News understands that if a deal is to happen, Hall will have to make it clear he wants the move. The Athletic reports that United's interest 'hasn't gone away.' Alternatives include Club Brugge's Joaquin Seys, with a £30 million move touted, and Racing Santander's Jorge Salinas, who has a release clause of £13.7m (€16m).
Midfield targets
Aurelien Tchouameni's potential move has stalled as he undergoes a medical at Real Madrid. Other options include Myles Lewis-Skelly, offered to United by Arsenal, and Monaco's Lamine Camara, valued at at least £42.7m (€50m). Leicester's Louis Page is also a target, with talks held and United reportedly in pole position.
Rashford and Amass
Marcus Rashford is "excited" to work with Carrick and has returned to training. Harry Amass may go on loan if a new left-back arrives, with a contract until 2027. Joshua Zirkzee is linked with Juventus, but a move could require a replacement striker.
