Manchester City take on a K-League XI at Seoul's Sangam Stadium this lunchtime, with several key players expected to return to the starting line-up.
Strong team expected with Community Shield in mind
With little more than a week before the Community Shield clash against Arsenal, manager Enzo Maresca is likely to field a strong side. Gianluigi Donnarumma, who played the full 90 minutes against Inter Milan, is set to keep his place in goal.
Matheus Nunes, one of three players who arrived too late to feature at the weekend, should start at right-back, with Ruben Dias reintroduced in central defence. Josko Gvardiol is expected to move to left-back, replacing Stephen Mfuni.
Midfield and attack
In midfield, Nico Gonzalez impressed in the second half against Inter, adding bite in the absence of Rodri. Tijjani Reijnders or Mateo Kovacic could partner him, with Maresca possibly leaning towards the Croatia international.
Phil Foden is likely to keep his spot in attacking midfield, though Dias' return may see him lose the captain's armband. Antoine Semenyo starts after an impressive first outing, with Jeremy Monga potentially given minutes on the left flank.
The 17-year-old was an unused substitute against Inter, and this match offers a chance for Maresca to assess whether Monga has a role in the first team this season or if a loan is needed.
With Erling Haaland absent, Omar Marmoush is expected to lead the line. Divin Mubama, who scored City's only goal against Inter but struggled to link up with midfield, may drop out.
Predicted line-up
City's predicted XI: Donnarumma; Nunes, Khusanov, Dias, Gvardiol; Nico, Kovacic; Semenyo, Foden, Monga; Marmoush.
