Liverpool Confident of £180m Double Swoop for Isak and Guehi

Liverpool are reportedly growing in confidence about securing a double transfer for Alexander Isak and Marc Guehi before the transfer window closes, according to the Mirror. The Premier League champions have already spent over £300 million this summer, adding Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez, Hugo Ekitike, and Jeremie Frimpong to their squad.

Arne Slot's side are seeking further reinforcements after selling Darwin Nunez to Al-Hilal and Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich. Isak has been Liverpool's primary target all summer, but a £110 million bid was rejected by Newcastle at the start of the month. The Sweden international has reiterated his desire to join Liverpool, and the Magpies may allow him to leave if they can sign replacements and if their £150 million valuation is met.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are ready to make a move for Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi, who is in the final year of his contract. Chairman Steve Parish is keen to avoid losing the England international for free next summer. The Reds are hopeful of agreeing a fee lower than Guehi's £40 million valuation, with Fabrizio Romano claiming a £30 million bid is being prepared.
