Leicester Fans Pay £47 for League One Tickets, Highest in Division

Leicester City fans will pay £47 for the most expensive Category A tickets this season, the highest non-premium price in League One. The Foxes, who finished 23rd in the Championship last term and suffered back-to-back relegations, start their 2026/27 campaign away to Notts County before hosting Burton Albion on August 22.

Price Details and Comparisons

A regular Category A adult ticket for home League One fixtures in Leicester's East Stand J2 and West Stand B2 is the most costly non-premium adult ticket in the division. This excludes the £72 First Floor seats, which are marked as premium on the club's pricing guide. The £47 price is a slight drop from the £49 charged for the same tickets last season in the Championship.

Following relegation, Leicester abolished their highest-priced 2025/26 category, renaming last season's Category B as Category A. Last season's C and D have become B and C, while cup games have separate pricing bands set per fixture.

Sheffield Wednesday, also relegated from the Championship last season, have the second most expensive tickets at £46 for their top Category A adult seats. In contrast, Huddersfield Town and Doncaster Rovers charge just £25 for their most expensive non-hospitality tickets, the cheapest in the third tier.

Other notable prices include Wigan Athletic at £30 per match and Bradford at £26. While the Premier League caps away tickets at £30, this does not apply to the EFL, so clubs set their own prices. Leicester charge £30 for away tickets in Category A fixtures but only £20 for Category C games.
