Chipotle adds ‘I Win’ Bowl to menu in honour of Indiana coach Curt Cignetti

Chipotle is celebrating Indiana Hoosiers head coach Curt Cignetti’s national championship season by adding a new item to its menu nationwide: “Coach Cignetti’s ‘I Win’ Bowl.” The bowl features brown rice, black beans, chicken and a side of guacamole, matching the meal Cignetti says he orders every day when the team is not travelling.

Cignetti has ordered the same lunch roughly 500 times since joining Indiana in November 2023, according to the company. The bowl’s name references his now-famous declaration during his introductory press conference: “I win. Google me.” Google has even leaned into the moment, showing the message “Yup, he won” when users search his name.

His daily orders are placed through the Chipotle Rewards account of Jake McDonald, Indiana’s assistant director of football operations. McDonald, who has picked up the coach’s bowl for two years, told the Wall Street Journal that Cignetti “just wants to be able to eat it, watch his film and go for the next game.” The account has accumulated enough points to rank in the top 1 percent statewide in Indiana.

The honour follows the Hoosiers’ undefeated season, capped by a 27-21 victory over Miami in Monday’s College Football Playoff National Championship. To thank fans, Chipotle is offering a buy-one-get-one-free entrée on Thursday after 4 p.m. at locations throughout Indiana for customers wearing Hoosiers gear.

Chipotle has not yet extended its “Celebrity Card” programme to Cignetti, though a spokesperson said the company is “aware of Coach Cignetti’s fandom” and has been in contact with his management. Cignetti, meanwhile, is already looking ahead: Indiana are ranked No. 3 in Yahoo Sports’ early 2026 top-25 despite quarterback Fernando Mendoza declaring for the NFL Draft.
