Manchester United are welcoming four more senior players back to Carrington this week, with club captain Bruno Fernandes among them.
Michael Carrick's squad has had a relatively similar group to work with across the first three games of the summer, but his ranks will be strengthened over the next few days.
Belgian duo already back
Belgian pair Senne Lammens and Youri Tielemans returned earlier than expected at the end of last week and will join in training from today (Monday).
They are joined this week by Portuguese duo Diogo Dalot and Fernandes, Morocco's Noussair Mazraoui and Brazil's Matheus Cunha, with the quartet returning after a break following their respective World Cup exits.
World Cup exits
Brazil went out of the tournament on July 5 after losing to Norway in the last-16, while Portugal exited a day later when they lost to Spain at the same stage. Mazraoui's tournament ended three days later when Morocco were beaten by France in the quarter-finals.
Since leaving the World Cup, Fernandes has turned his attention back to club duties. He has posted on social media that he has watched all three friendlies so far, against Wrexham, Rosenborg and Atletico Madrid.
PSG and Ireland camp
The level steps up again for United this week, with a trip to Gothenburg on Saturday to face back-to-back Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain.
After that, United will head straight to Ireland for a training camp. During that week, the three players who reached the final week of the World Cup are set to return: Lisandro Martinez, Kobbie Mainoo and Marcus Rashford.
Martinez and Mainoo fitness
Martinez and Mainoo are both thought to be fit despite picking up minor injuries at the end of the tournament. Mainoo was ruled out of the bronze medal match with a back injury, while Martinez was forced off in the final as Argentina lost to Spain.
