Europe's 19 Most Valuable Teens: Yamal Leads, PL Dominates

Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal is the most valuable teenager in European football, according to the CIES Football Observatory, with an estimated market value of £323.1million. That figure is more than double the next-highest teenager on the continent, Barcelona team-mate Pau Cubarsi, who is valued at £152.9m.

The Premier League is the most widely represented division among the 19 most valuable teenagers in Europe, contributing eight players. Chelsea winger Estevao tops that group with a valuation of £103.1m, placing him third overall.

Premier League Dominance

Estevao's high valuation is partly attributed to the seven years remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge. A player's market value tends to increase the further they are from the expiration of their deal, as it becomes more difficult for other clubs to prise them away.

Real Madrid's Yan Diomande, signed from RB Leipzig this summer, is fourth on the list at £102.7m. Bayern Munich playmaker Lennart Karl, aged 18, rounds out the top five at £102.2m.

Brighton spent a club-record £46m to sign Luka Vuskovic from Tottenham this summer, and the defender is now valued at £60.6m, placing him 10th. Liverpool winger Rio Ngumoha, who recently turned 18, is 11th at £53.6m after breaking into the first team following Mohamed Salah's departure.

Other Notable Valuations

The third Barcelona representative in the top 19 is midfielder Marc Bernal at approximately £78.2m, just ahead of Manchester City's Ayyoub Bouaddi at £77.6m. City paid £86m to sign Bouaddi from Lille this summer.

Aston Villa have two players among Europe's elite teenagers: Ibrahim Mbaye at £63.1m, who joined from PSG for £47m in the summer, and 19-year-old winger George Hemmings at £41.7m, despite having played only 12 senior games.

Real Madrid's Franco Mastantuono, currently on loan at Fiorentina, is eighth at £65m. Roma's Rodrigo Mora (14th, £46.5m) and Juventus' Kerim Alajbegovic (17th, £44.3m) are the other Serie A-based players in the top 19.

Outside Europe's top five leagues, Porto winger Oskar Pietuszewski (£52m) and Ajax defender Jorthy Mokio (£46m) make the cut, both aged 18 and already senior internationals for Poland and Belgium respectively.
