Celtic's official account took to social media with a post for their 'On The Road' series, writing: "Sundays done (W)right." The pun referenced Wright's decisive goal, which left McInnes winless in his first three competitive matches in charge of Rangers.
The pressure on McInnes is mounting, with Rangers set to face Polish opposition at Ibrox on Thursday in the Europa League third qualifying round, trailing 2-1 from the first leg.
Board backing for McInnes
Rangers' hierarchy, including Paraag Marathe, Andrew Cavenagh, and Jim Gillespie, spoke at the club's shareholder meeting on Monday, offering strong support for McInnes despite the shaky start since his move from Hearts.
