Everton will discover their Carabao Cup second round opponents this evening, with the draw taking place before the first-round tie between Plymouth Argyle and Exeter City.
Thirty-eight EFL clubs progressed from the first round, including all three sides relegated from the Premier League last season. They will be joined by 11 Premier League clubs that did not qualify for European competition, including Everton, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur.

The draw is split into northern and southern sections. In the northern section, Everton are ball number 8, alongside Championship and League One sides such as Leeds United, Sheffield Wednesday, and Burnley.
