Niles shared a video from the tailgate before the game, saying: "Hey guys, here's the fit. It's the first game. We're so excited, and we're doing it here [at the tailgate] because we were a little late." She wore low-rise orange leather trousers with "Von Dutch" written across the back, and a customised jersey bearing her fiancé's number six, with the sleeves cut off and the back cut out.
"So I made this jersey. I bedazzled it. I cut the back out. Von Dutch pants, with my little Longchamp bag that my friends got for my birthday," she said in the video, which she captioned: "WERE BAAAAAACKKK," followed by two orange heart emojis. The post drew praise from many of her 51,700 followers, with some requesting a tutorial on how to customise jerseys in a similar style.
Niles and Browning both attended the University of Washington, where he played football from 2015 to 2018 and she graduated in 2018 with a degree in information systems and accounting. Browning graduated from the Foster School of Business. The couple became engaged in 2024 on a Malibu beach. Niles currently works in the finance department at vehicle manufacturing company DECKED and co-founded the sustainable swimwear brand 7th Street Swim, whose Instagram bio describes it as "Where downtown cool meets uptown quality."
This is not the first time Niles' matchday fashion has gone viral. In 2024, she wore a bedazzled white bodysuit featuring the number six and the initials "JB", paired with a fuzzy orange bucket hat and orange Moon Boots. The outfit received a largely positive reaction, though some criticised it as attention-seeking.
In a separate social media post marking their fifth anniversary, Browning reflected on their relationship, revealing they had nearly split due to the challenges of a long-distance relationship. He wrote: "Remember when we agreed we weren't going to date? Or when we finally started dating we agreed we were going to break up when you moved to NYC in 2018? Five years, four different time zones and 14 different moves later, here we are."
