Arsenal will host Real Madrid in the league phase of this season's Champions League, with Jose Mourinho's side visiting north London in a standout fixture.
Gunners handed tough draw
Mikel Arteta's side last faced the Spanish giants in the quarter-finals of the competition in 2025, when Declan Rice scored two free-kicks on Arsenal's way to a 5-1 aggregate win.
The Gunners won all eight of their league-phase matches last season and made it all the way to the final, where they were beaten on penalties by Paris Saint-Germain.

They will be looking to go one further this time, though Arsenal have been handed a difficult draw. A showdown in north London with Jose Mourinho and Real is the headline fixture but Arsenal will also travel to face Bayern Munich.
