Tipster John Ward has revealed his weekend best bets, including a banker at York's Ebor Festival and a wager on Strictly Come Dancing being axed.
Ward pointed to the return of Harry and Meghan to the UK, calling it "the most unwelcome comeback since the Covid lockdowns." He questioned whether the public should fund their security and suggested a swap deal, with Harry in and "pervy Andy" flown out to the US.
Strictly Come Dancing Axe Odds Slashed
Ward noted the latest series of the BBC dance show features celebrities who are "not household names in their own house." Ladbrokes have cut odds on the show being axed after the next series from 8/1 to 3/1.
Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: "Strictly has been a Saturday night staple for years, but the betting suggests its final dance may be on the horizon."
Ward agreed, advising punters to back Strictly Come Dancing to be axed at 3/1.
Football and Ebor Festival Tips
Ward's other tips include Derby to beat Cardiff at evens with Coral, Colchester to beat Oldham at 6/4 with 10bet, and Aston Villa to beat Brighton at 21/10 with Paddy Power.
At York, he picked Mr Hollywood in the Ebor at 12/1 with 10bet.
