Warwickshire secured their place in the Vitality Blast quarter-finals after a commanding 127-run victory over Derbyshire, powered by Tom Latham's brilliant century. The New Zealand batsman smashed 104 off 51 balls, including eight sixes, as Warwickshire posted a formidable 233 for five. Jake Lintott then took three for 27 to dismiss Derbyshire for 106, consigning them to last place in the North Group.
In other North Group action, teenager Farhan Ahmed claimed a hat-trick as part of a five-wicket haul for Nottinghamshire, who beat Lancashire by four wickets. Ahmed helped bowl out already-qualified Lancashire for 126 before Tom Moores' 75 guided Nottinghamshire to 127 for six with nearly five overs to spare, though they failed to advance. Alex Lees' unbeaten 101 led Durham to a nine-wicket win over Northamptonshire, with both sides already through to the last eight. Graham Clark added 79 as Durham chased down 204 for the loss of one wicket, while Matthew Potts took three for 27 to restrict Northamptonshire.
Victory for Durham ended Leicestershire's hopes of reaching the quarter-finals after they suffered a two-wicket defeat to Yorkshire. Abdullah Shafique hit 64 as Leicestershire were all out for 185, finishing seventh. In the South Group, Hampshire secured a quarter-final spot despite losing their final match. Kent booked their place with a seven-wicket win over Essex, opener Tawanda Muyeye scoring 80 and Harry Finch 64 as they chased down 173 with ease. Paul Walter's half-century had earlier helped Essex to 172 for six.
Glamorgan missed out on the top four despite Dan Douthwaite's four for 22 in a 52-run win over Middlesex. Kian Carlson's rapid 49 off 19 balls lifted Glamorgan to 184 for nine, before Middlesex fell short on 132 despite Kane Williamson's 63. Group winners Surrey signed off with a seven-run victory over Sussex, Will Jacks hitting a century as Surrey reached 204 for five, before Sam Curran's four for 18 sealed the win. Somerset, already assured of their quarter-final place, beat Gloucestershire by 16 runs with Ben Green hitting an unbeaten 36.
