Stanley Vitalize Shaker Review: Best Protein Shaker Yet, But At a Price

Stanley, known for its viral cups, has launched the Vitalize protein shaker, which a decade-long lifter calls the best he has ever used. However, at £60, he cannot recommend it due to the steep price tag.

The shaker is leakproof, thanks to a twist-top mechanism that survived being thrown into a packed rucksack during a commute. The double-wall vacuum-insulated stainless steel frame kept a chocolate shake cold until lunchtime and proved robust after multiple dishwasher cycles.

Drawbacks include a large size that takes up significant bag space despite only holding 0.59 litres, insufficient for some gainer shakes. The twist top requires two hands to open, making it less convenient for on-the-go drinking. A separate compartment at the bottom adds to the bulk but is useful for storing extra protein powder or snacks.

While the shaker's durability and temperature control are impressive, the reviewer concludes that the 1,150 per cent mark-up over standard shakers is hard to justify for most people.
