Elin Nordegren 'Concerned' for Tiger Woods After Latest DUI Arrest

Tiger Woods' ex-wife Elin Nordegren is reportedly “concerned” about him following his arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence in Florida. The 50-year-old golf legend was taken into custody after rolling his Land Rover on Friday afternoon and has since been released on bail. He also faces charges of property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.

According to a source, Nordegren, who shares daughter Sam, 18, and son Charlie, 17, with Woods, is worried about his well-being. “The kids are close with Tiger, so of course Elin cares too,” the insider told People. “She wants him to be well. Both kids are great and love spending time with their dad. Elin's concerned that he had another car crash and got arrested.”

This is not Woods' first driving incident. In 2009, he crashed with sleeping pills in his system, and in 2017, he was charged with DUI after being found asleep at the wheel, which he attributed to a reaction to prescribed medication. In 2021, he survived a serious SUV crash at over 80mph near Los Angeles, suffering multiple leg and ankle injuries that nearly led to amputation.

Woods' current partner, Vanessa Trump, has also expressed frustration. A source told the Daily Mail: “She's not happy at all. She's both disappointed and a little bit p*ssed... It's a definite red flag.” The insider added that Trump has set boundaries, telling Woods he must “get this sorted out” or she will not remain in the relationship. Woods is said to be “very apologetic” and “embarrassed” by the incident.
