Neville's Verdict
Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville did not hold back. 'This is the ninth richest club in world football, and they have produced a season that is nothing short of pathetic,' he said. 'They should be ashamed of themselves, frankly.'
The former Manchester United defender highlighted Tottenham's dire home form, noting they had not won at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since early December. 'They have been flimsy, weak, and vulnerable all season,' Neville added.
De Zerbi Under Pressure
Manager Roberto De Zerbi, who guided Spurs to Europa League glory last year, now faces a huge task to rebuild. Neville urged the Italian to make significant changes. 'He needs to look at this squad and realise that major surgery is required. Too many players are not up to the standard required,' Neville said.
