Adult film actress Leah Gotti has been forced to withdraw from her scheduled fight against Lil Bellsy on the undercard of Tommy Fury vs Eddie Hall after routine medical scans revealed a brain aneurysm. The 29-year-old, who was set to compete at the Misfits Boxing event on June 13 in Manchester, shared the news in an emotional video on X (formerly Twitter).
Gotti explained that an MRI and MRA scan showed an aneurysm, which was later confirmed by a CTA scan and a neurosurgeon. She said she cannot engage in any combat or strenuous activities that raise her heart rate, as it could risk a rupture. Further tests also revealed white matter lesions in her brain.
“Obviously, fighting, anything combat or anything that raises my heart, whether that be straining from lifting weights, sprinting, holding my breath, anything like that, I cannot do,” Gotti said. “I risk thinning out the walls even more and possibly having a ruptured aneurysm, which would be very bad.”
Promotional bosses have scrambled to save the matchup, with Andy Nguyen stepping in on ten days' notice to face Bellsy. Bellsy sent a message of support to Gotti, stating: “Health always comes first, and I wish her nothing but a full and speedy recovery.”
