Brandi Glanville fears she has 'sexually transmitted ringworm' in throat

Brandi Glanville, a former contestant on The Traitors US, has said she may have contracted a sexually transmitted ringworm from an ex-boyfriend who worked in pornography. The 53-year-old made the comments on her podcast, Brandi Unfiltered, while speaking to author and former adult film star Lisa Ann.

Glanville, also known for her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, said: 'Have you heard about sexually transmitted ringworm? I feel like I have it… in my throat.' Ringworm is a fungal infection that can affect skin, nails or hair, and new forms linked to sexual contact have recently emerged.

The reality star explained that her ex-partner would finish in her mouth, adding: 'He would only, you know, my face because he didn’t want to get me pregnant.' She noted that doctors had ruled out more common STIs, but a friend told her about the infection. 'I knew nothing about it,' she said.

Glanville has been dealing with health issues for several years, including a parasite from ruptured breast implants. She previously documented swelling on the right side of her face, diagnosed as stress-provoked angioedema, and later learned the cause was a rupture of her decades-old implants. She advised changing implants every ten years, a lesson she learned 'the hard way.'
