Two Arrested After Brawl Erupts at Liverpool McDonald's Drive-Thru

Chaos erupted at a McDonald's in Page Moss, Liverpool, on Friday 11 July, with around a dozen people reportedly brawling outside the drive-through. Shocking footage shows a member of staff shouting at a shirtless man to 'get off me' as multiple people wade into the carnage.

The footage appears to show a woman slapping the man repeatedly while smaller fights break out around them. A woman is seen shouting and pointing at staff, saying 'you better leave your job' before swearing at them. The sound of police sirens eventually causes the group to disperse.

Merseyside Police confirmed two people were arrested. A 45-year-old woman from Roby was arrested on suspicion of common assault and racially/religiously aggravated intentional harassment, alarm or distress. A 46-year-old man from Roby was arrested on suspicion of assault. Both have been bailed pending further inquiries.

A McDonald's spokesperson said: 'We are aware of the incident involving anti-social behaviour from a group of customers. The group were asked to leave the restaurant due to unacceptable behaviour. The police were called and we are supporting them with their enquiries. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards anti-social behaviour.'

The branch currently holds a 1.2 out of five rating on TripAdvisor, with reviews describing 'horrible experience' and 'I'm done with this place'. Police are appealing for information, which can be reported via 101 or social media quoting reference 25000571297.
