A 32-year-old Kentucky man, Allen Osborne, has been arrested after being found engaging in a sexual act with a dead deer while covered in fur, according to police.
Osborne, from Owensboro, was charged with sexual crimes against animals by Central City police on Saturday. A driver reported seeing Osborne on the side of the road in Muhlenberg County, prompting the police response.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Osborne with his trousers down and blood on his underwear, as detailed in court documents cited by the Lexington Herald-Leader. The documents also noted deer fur on his hooded top.
Osborne was booked into Muhlenberg County Detention Center and remained held on a $5,000 bond as of Monday afternoon. He pleaded not guilty during a court appearance on Monday morning, Central City police told The Independent.
The offence is a Class D felony in Kentucky, carrying a possible prison sentence of one to five years upon conviction. Information about Osborne’s legal representation was not immediately clear.
