Giuffre's Brother Pens Furious Letter Over Maxwell Clemency Bid

Sky Roberts, brother of the late Virginia Giuffre, has written a scathing open letter to Ghislaine Maxwell after she refused to testify before a congressional committee, instead offering to speak only if granted clemency by President Donald Trump.

In the letter, delivered to the House Oversight Committee and shared on social media, Roberts accused Maxwell of being a 'central, deliberate actor' in Jeffrey Epstein's abuse network. He wrote: 'You used trust as a weapon. You targeted vulnerability and turned it into access. That is not a mistake. That is predation.'

Roberts quoted his sister's memoir, in which she described Maxwell as 'a monster; she was often more vicious and cruel than Epstein.' He slammed Maxwell for creating a 'template of exploitation' used to abuse young girls, stating: 'The suffering was not incidental to what you did. It was the point.'

Maxwell, serving a 20-year sentence for child sex trafficking, invoked her Fifth Amendment rights during Monday's deposition. Her lawyer said she would speak 'fully and honestly' if granted clemency by President Trump. Committee Chair James Comer expressed disappointment, noting that immunity was considered but rejected after consulting survivors.

Roberts urged Congress to investigate why Maxwell was moved to a minimum-security prison after an interview with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche. He ended with a quote from his sister: 'Ghislaine, you deserve to spend the rest of your life in a jail cell. Trapped in a cage forever just like you trapped your victims.'
