Background of the fund

The fund was set up in 2022 to celebrate the memory of ex-Stirling County youth Siobhan Cattigan, who passed away in November 2021 aged just 26.

Siobhan, from Callander, earned 17 caps for her country - with her impact felt across the various clubs and teams she was involved in through her life.

Impact and community support

The fund was created to honour Siobhan's compassionate spirit and to continue her love of helping others, with all proceeds supporting Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity.

It was recently revealed to have raised £60,000 for the hospital since being set up - with Siobhan's parents Neil and Morven praising the support of the community.

A similar event took place in 2024, with proceeds of £411 taken from the afternoon despite a teeming wet afternoon.
