Katie Price's Husband Denies Cash-Begging Voice Notes Before Proposal

Lee Andrews, the husband of media personality Katie Price, has firmly denied allegations that he sent desperate voice notes begging for cash just days before his lavish proposal to Price in January. This denial comes shortly after Price publicly defended her husband, claiming she has seen concrete proof of his millionaire status.

Allegations of Desperate Voice Notes

The accusations suggest that Andrews sent voice messages to a female friend based in the United States, pleading for financial assistance and complaining about surviving on a diet of twenty ready meals. In one alleged note, he is said to have described himself as "desperate" and "trying to survive", with requests to wire him cash on multiple occasions.

The unnamed woman claims that Andrews first contacted her in May of last year, initially keeping their interactions strictly business-related. However, by October, he reportedly began asking for money, specifically requesting 3,000 US dollars via Western Union. She stated that she nearly sent the funds but grew increasingly concerned upon further reflection.

Lee Andrews' Response and Denial

Andrews has taken to Instagram to refute these claims, commenting on a post detailing the allegations with a simple statement: "This is not me." He further addressed the issue on his Instagram story, sharing a screenshot of three fake accounts impersonating him and warning followers to ignore both these accounts and the circulating fake voice notes.

According to the accuser, when she refused to provide the money, Andrews responded with a harsh message, telling her to "F**k off, timewasters." She alleges that the voice notes grew more desperate over time, with Andrews claiming he was too poor to eat properly and urgently needed cash to "get things moving."

Katie Price's Defence of Her Husband

This controversy follows Katie Price's recent interview with The Sun, where she vehemently defended Andrews against claims that he is a conman. Price insisted that she has seen documented proof of his wealth, including copies of his passport and other financial documents. She emphasized her independence, stating, "I’m not stupid. I’ve learned now that I don’t need a man. I always used to need a man in my life whereas now I don’t need a man, I just want one."

Price reassured the public that she has not fallen for a scammer, asserting, "So yes, I can reassure everyone at home that I haven’t gone for a con man. I haven’t gone for a scammer. There was no love bombing." The Sun reports that Price has shown them these documents to substantiate her claims.

Ongoing Media Scrutiny

The allegations and denials have sparked significant media attention, highlighting the intense public interest in the couple's relationship. As the story develops, both Andrews and Price continue to face scrutiny over their financial dealings and personal lives. The conflicting accounts between the accuser's claims and Andrews' denials leave many questions unanswered, with fans and critics alike closely watching for further developments.
