One prediction, numbered I:26, reads: 'The great swarm of bees will arise… by night the ambush…' Experts believe the bees symbolise world leaders, possibly Donald Trump or Vladimir Putin, hinting at geopolitical upheaval.
Another quatrain warns of a clash between East and West: 'When Mars rules his path among the stars, human blood will sprinkle the sanctuary. Three fires rise from the eastern sides, while the West loses its light in silence.' This is interpreted as a potential war involving Western Europe and Asia, possibly linked to the rise of artificial intelligence.
However, Nostradamus also offered a glimmer of hope, writing: 'Shadows will fall, but the man of light will rise, and the stars will guide those who look within.' This suggests a period of renewal, with a new leader or approach emerging to guide the world through the challenges ahead.
