Ryanair Incident

In a separate incident, a Ryanair flight from Thessaloniki to Serbia experienced a mid-air emergency when an engine part reportedly detached and struck a cabin window, partially pulling a passenger out of the aircraft. Ljubiša Karović, 61, was traveling with his wife Svetlana Grković when the incident occurred on July 10. The captain had spotted an engine problem and was returning to Thessaloniki when the window dislodged inflight. Grković grabbed her husband's legs, stating, 'If we die, we die together.'
