M&S Shoppers Rush to Buy New Healthy Hydrating Snack

Marks and Spencer has launched a new healthy and hydrating snack that shoppers are rushing to try. The cucumber pots come in two flavors: The Big Dill Shake-A-Cucumber and Feeling Spicy Shake-A-Cucumber. They are designed to be shaken in the pot so every slice is coated with the dressing, which is kept separate to keep the cucumber crisp.

Health Benefits of Cucumbers

Cucumbers are extremely healthy and hydrating. In 100g of cucumber, there are only 15 calories. According to BUPA UK, cucumbers are composed of roughly 95% to 96% water, the highest water content of any solid food. They also provide key electrolytes like potassium and magnesium, which support fluid balance.

Taste Test by Eloise Head

Food influencer Eloise Head tried both flavors. She described the dill version as "really tangy, really refreshing and creamy" and praised its convenience for a "refreshing summery snack." She rated it 8/10. The spicy version had a strong sesame taste, which she didn't like as much, rating it 7.5/10.

Shopper Reactions

Shoppers had mixed reactions. One commented that the pots are "really nice" but wouldn't buy them all the time. Another was frustrated by the lack of forks, but a third pointed out that forks are usually available at the checkout.
