B&M shoppers looking to banish weeds from their garden could be in luck. The discount retailer, known for selling budget-friendly home and garden products, has launched Weed Control Fabric, which 'stops weed growth' but 'allows soil to breathe'. Explaining the design, B&M said the product has multiple features that benefit gardeners. For example, the fabric allows water, moisture, and nutrients to reach the soil, maintaining soil health while suppressing weeds.

The product description explains: "This durable and easy to use Weed Control Fabric stops weed growth in borders and under paving, paths and decking. Can be used under mulch, bark chippings and areas of paving to create a weed-free base. Simply cut slits for existing plants or crosses for new plants. Always thoroughly clear and kill all weeds in the area." According to the features specification, the fabric also allows water through whilst keeping weeds down, allows soil to breathe, allows moisture and nutrients to penetrate, helps soil retain moisture, and stops sunlight to prevent weed growth.
