Joining Hiddleston is a team of ancient Rome specialists, including archaeologists, historians, geologists, and disaster experts. A teenage apprentice, a powerful businesswoman, and a mysterious Praetorian Guard serve as crucial elements of the mystery as Hiddleston travels back in time to examine the hours leading up to and during the eruption.
