Clarkson's Farm Season Six Confirmed for Summer 2027 Release

The sixth series of Clarkson's Farm will air in summer 2027, according to planning documents submitted to West Oxfordshire District Council. The reality TV show, which follows Jeremy Clarkson running his Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire, has been renewed for a sixth season ahead of the fifth series launch in June this year.

The documents, submitted by a planning consultant on behalf of Clarkson, reveal that season six has been commissioned and will air in summer 2027. The application seeks an extension until 2030 for the farm shop and car parking, citing the show's continued popularity. The consultant noted that the three-year time limit was originally set based on the assumption that the third series might be the last, but the show has since been renewed for a fifth and sixth series.

Clarkson, 66, had previously revealed in his Sunday Times column in February that filming of the sixth series was suspended due to poor weather. However, the planning documents confirm that production is back on track. The show, which first aired in 2021, highlights the challenges faced by British farmers.

The planning application will be determined at a later date. Clarkson bought the farm, then known as Curdle Hill Farm, nearly 20 years ago and renamed it Diddly Squat Farm due to its lack of productivity. He has since opened a farm shop and pub, and has become a vocal supporter of farmers, attending a protest against inheritance tax on farmland in November 2024.
