Amanda Owen, star of Channel 5's Our Yorkshire Farm, has shared a glimpse into her family life three years after her separation from husband Clive. The couple, who raise nine children together, confirmed the end of their marriage in June 2022 but continue to co-parent and work together on Channel 4's Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids.
In a recent Instagram post, Amanda posted a video of one of her children playing by a lake, writing: 'Taking a deep dive into summer. Finding solace and quiet by the water's edge or exhilaration and frolics in the pools.' She added: 'Countryside, outdoors and in nature. *All farmed places don't forget*. It's where it's at.' The footage showed children playing in a river, jumping down waterfalls and swimming in clear waters.
Fans responded warmly, with one commenting: 'Just the best way to keep cool in beautiful sunny Swaledale.' Another wrote: 'Wonderful, I bet it's very cold though, moving water is cold!' A third said: 'How wonderful to have this on your doorstep.'
Amanda is also focusing on sheep shearing as summer temperatures rise. In another post, she noted: 'When it comes to woolly jumpers and fleeces, the heat is on and it's time to lose the layers!' Her children are reportedly eager for the school summer holidays and have been seen riding tractors around Ravenseat Farm, enjoying the sunshine.
