A woman who called a stray cat “ugly” on TikTok has seen the feline get the last laugh after the cat struck a model-like pose that delighted millions of viewers.
The young stray, with a distinctive pale coat, “just showed up” at the woman’s property, according to the clip shared under the name Kenxie. In the video, Kenxie cradles the cat and says: “Look at this ugly little kitty, I love her. Um, she just, like, showed up.”
As she lifts the cat toward the camera, the animal stretches out one front paw, raises the other near its face, and turns its head to gaze at the lens for several seconds — a pose reminiscent of a model on a runway. Kenxie bursts into laughter, and text overlaid on the clip reads: “She said ugly who.”
Viral reaction and comments
The 10-second clip, set to Madonna’s “Vogue,” amassed more than 58.2 million views and upwards of 29,000 comments. Fellow TikTok users flooded the comments with reactions.
One user wrote: “Ugly? Excuse me?” with a mock-up Vogue magazine cover featuring the cat. Another shared a screengrab of Ben Stiller as Derek Zoolander from the 2001 film, adding: “Wrong b**** try again.” A third asked: “Is she named Vogue?” while a fourth commented: “What a diva.”
