Love Is Blind UK season three star Ciara Murphy has told her followers she is “in mourning” following the death of country music icon Dolly Parton at the age of 80.
The 29-year-old Pilates instructor shared the update on her Instagram Stories just hours before viewers tuned in to watch her wedding day on the Netflix dating show. Alongside a photo of the singer, she wrote: “Oh actually never mind, cancel everything I'm going to be in mourning for the foreseeable.”
Wedding day aired on the same day
The latest batch of episodes arrived on August 26, showing the highly-anticipated wedding days. Four couples tied the knot on the series, including Ciara and her match, 33-year-old fitness coach Ajay Cheema.
Ciara was one of 30 singles who entered the show's pods at the start of the experiment. She faced a difficult decision after building a connection with 30-year-old chef Jack Bradshaw alongside her spark with Ajay.
Ajay's decisiveness won her heart
Ajay's decisiveness and sole focus on Ciara ultimately won her heart, and the pair went on to say 'I do' on the programme. Whether the couple remain together will be revealed in the upcoming reunion episode, which arrives on Netflix on August 30.
Her time on the show has not been without controversy. Ciara admitted early on that she once had £15,000 spent on her during a first date. Netflix's introduction of the Londoner adds: “Ciara has a taste for luxury, which manifests in extravagant brunches, dinner parties, and at least three dates a week with eligible bachelors whom she expects to pull out all the stops.”
